For this split I was very lucky to get P.D. Wilder on board.

Wilder is one of my favourite guitarists operating these days, and from his two lengthy pieces here you too will know why. He has played in some great instrumental bands such as Hotel Hotel and More States, and a bunch of others yet to make my awareness.

I had originally planned for my pieces to be in a similarly subdued vein to his but decided on harsh contrast, utilising some of my loudest most distorted playing. The first track Final, for example, was played on a malfunctioning Stratocaster copy which created all manner of interesting background noise.
